A rule watches the weather in its locations and switches the Meta ad sets you pick. On Pro and Business, one rule can cover several cities, each checked against its own weather and switching its own ad sets.
Every plan includes
- Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram) ad set control. Google Ads is coming soon.
- Every weather trigger: temperature, chance of rain, rain amount, snow, wind, gusts, severe weather alerts, humidity and cloud cover, looking at today, the next few days or the past 24 hours. See every weather trigger, with example rules.
- Three actions: turn ad sets on, turn them off, or cut their daily budget by a percentage you choose. WeatherTrigger never raises a budget above what you set in Meta.
- Automatic revert once the weather has cleared on two checks in a row, with an optional hold of a few days.
- Your choice of check frequency, from every 30 minutes to once a day.
- A log of every check: the weather reading, whether the rule matched, and what happened to each ad set.
- Weather data from OpenWeather, including official severe weather alerts where they are issued for your area.
How the free trial works
Every plan starts with a 30-day free trial, and you don’t need a card to start it. Sign up, connect your Meta ad account and build your rules. A month is usually long enough for the weather to turn a few times, so you can watch your rules fire before you decide.
Add a card whenever you’re ready to keep going. If the trial ends without one, the subscription ends and you aren’t charged. The free trial applies to your first subscription.
A flat fee, not a percentage of ad spend
WeatherTrigger costs the same whether you spend $500 or $50,000 a month on Meta. Some weather advertising tools charge a percentage of ad spend instead, so their fee grows with your budget. At $5,000 a month of ad spend under weather rules, a 7.5% fee comes to $375 a month.
Those tools often do more, such as Google Ads, bid changes and budget increases. For a fair side-by-side on features and price, see WeatherAds alternatives compared.
Tax, billing and cancelling
- Currency: prices are in US dollars, billed monthly through Stripe.
- Tax: prices exclude tax. Australian customers pay 10% GST on top.
- Cancelling: cancel any time from Settings → Manage subscription in the app.
- Refunds: you can ask for a refund of your most recent charge within 30 days of the billing date. See the refund policy.
